.dbits extension

Post by BrooksNYC »

Hi, there.

I've stumbled across a oddball file in a folder containing photos, and haven't been able to identify the extension (.dbits).

Malware scans turn up nothing suspicious. The file is 0 KB, and the name is all numbers:

29478ad58ea861aed3c4407864b96847.dbits

Thanks for sleuthing!

Do you have XYplorerFree installed by a chance ? It seems the file type is related to thumbnails and hash files.

I use the Pro version of XYplorer, but that's got to be it! Thank you very much, Malric.

I've deleted the .dbits file, and no harm done. Image
