Hi.
I have this small old game that uses MIDI files for its background music. The game's folder consists of only two files:
1) An EXE file, which is used to launch the game and is 274 KB.
2) A file with the ".gam" extension which is 7 MB.
I wanted to know if it's possible to somehow get the game's music out of that .gam file, so I can listen to the MIDI files without having to play the game.
Thanks.
*.gam files and MIDI...?

Re: *.gam files and MIDI...?
Hi, I would recommend you two programs.
First Dragon UnPAcker
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dragonunpacker/
It supports hundreds of game archives so it might be able to open yours.
Other than that, try to rename the archive to RAR or ZIP and extract it with WinRAR or 7-zip.
It would be helpful if you would have written which game it is.

Thanks for the reply! I already tried 7-zip with no success, but I'm gonna try Dragon UnPacker now.Malric wrote:Hi, I would recommend you two programs.

The game is called Powerpuff Z2. It's a very old game made by Parsec Productions, the same guy(s) who developed Slender: The Eight Pages
EDIT: DragonUnpacker didn't recognize the .gam file, too >.<
Re: *.gam files and MIDI...?
Hmm haven't found anything yet, sorry.
