I propose to register the .cpw file extension ("cost planning work"). This is the cross-platform format for storing tasks on devices which belong to users of the Online Cost Planning Service provided by res-plan.com. I am founder and owner of the res-plan.com Online Resource Planning Services and developer of the Cost Planning client applications and .cpw file format.
All user data are stored on the client side in .cpw files; each file corresponds to some user's task. (When user commands 'Allocate' from client application, it connects to Service and sends a request which contains only numeric data necessary for calculation. The Service performs calculation, sends results back to the client application and terminates connection.)
