Hi, I have several documents from a friend of mine in ABW format? Any idea how to open or rather convert them to Microsoft Word ?

Your best bet is to download AbiWord and resave your documents to DOC format.

That exactly what i want to do.I just want to convert ABW to Word.But it is difficult for me to do that.I want to know that if there is a Word processing tool which supports to convert Word files in file-extensions.I think that would be more convenient for me.Thanks for any suggestions.

Just download AbiWord word processor and re-save the *.aww file to *.doc.
