About .ARF Playback Issue

Post by FerdyA1Up »

I have never seen this format before until recently after I used an online conference program named WebEx online meeting. I record the whole process and downloaded it to my computer but what I found were several files with the extensions of ARF. I tried using Windows Media Player VLC but they couldn't recognize this program. Then I used another video converter named wondershare, however, it could not even be transferred. Have any one any good suggestions who ever used WebEx before?

You can download a free conversion utility on Cisco website, I think it's the recording editor.

ARF is an exclusive format of WebEx Online Meeting recording files so, there is no way for third-party media players like Windows Media Player and VLC to open it up. The only way is to use Network Recording Player (https://welcome.webex.com/client/T31L/nbr2player.msi) to change the format to WMV( I am not sure how to use the built-in converter to convert it to MP4 because it request me for some kind of passwords which I don't have)(you can read this guidance on how to use webex built in converter: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/ti ... erter.html). If your media player or devices still cannot play it, you must use some other converters to change it into common formats.
